New construction tripled the size of this once modest 1980’s house transforming it into a classic country seat on an equestrian estate. Drawing upon historic examples, the new exterior includes a classic front portico and front door with a leaded glass transom, enhanced cornice mouldings, pilasters, moulded door and window casings with entablatures, and new brick “decorated” chimney tops. The interiors were similarly enhanced with classical trim work, and a new grand staircase, a gourmet kitchen, a new living room and sitting room which featured English-made marble mantles, built-in mahogany bookcases.
