Old structures can reveal their history and inspire new design work that repurposes them to live on. That was the case with this house with beginnings as a tiny one room, one and a half story 18th century fisherman’s cottage. Over time successive additions were made with the last part being completed in the mid to late 19th century. The owner lovingly sought to respectfully renovate and restore the house up to modern standards as a bay side vacation home.
