The design of this new home is based on the client’s tourist’s delight in 18th century English country estate houses. To that end one is greeted with a triumphal arch entry centered on a hipped roof central block with wings to each side. Trumpeting arrival, one enters through a grand columned double cube hall that lead to equally grand first floor public rooms including a double height saloon with an arcaded gallery that proceeds through to a walled garden pool terrace. Comfortable luxurious modern living on the first floor is afforded by a generous dining room, a large eat-in gourmet kitchen and a large ensuite master suite with a private library. There are two entirely self-contained private second floor ensuite bedrooms.
